McKesson and F2L to Deliver Integrated Health Solutions for the Future
McKesson has agreed to acquire Australia’s leading provider of online health, wellness and behaviour change programs, Fitness2live (F2L) to offer seamless telephone and web solutions for the Asia-Pacific region.
The locally developed web platform will complement McKesson’s telephone triage and health support solutions specialising in wellness, chronic disease and mental health.
Co-President of McKesson, Dr Andrew Wilson said he was delighted to add the F2L capability to the McKesson product and service suite.“
The F2L web solution has critical capability that can be integrated into our existing programs to provide tailored online and telephone-based health services for our customers and their consumers,” said Dr Wilson.“
Most importantly, F2L’s programs have demonstrated their effectiveness in terms of delivering health outcomes and therefore complement our existing evidence-based services.”
F2L Managing Director Dr Michael McCoy said the industry is seeing a strong move towards the introduction of population-based health prevention and wellness programs.
“The integration of our service suite with McKesson’s platform will allow us to deploy large scale integrated services as well as continue to provide tailored online services.”
F2L deliver customised services under licence to over 30 Australian and UK based customers across the public health, private health insurance and corporate sectors.
